A healthy lifestyle preference is one of the many reasons people live in Naples, Florida. If you are like me, you buy your food from local farms when possible such as Oakes Farms or shop at the larger organic food markets like Whole Foods, Food For Thought or Sprouts. Otherwise, it can be difficult to find food that meets specific dietary needs.
Cafe Nutrients is one of my newest restaurant recommendations for my real estate clients and friends vacationing or visiting the Naples and Marco Island area. I’m always on the lookout for restaurants that are organic and vegan friendly and I’ve found my new favorite. The name says it all, Cafe Nutrients. My first visit was a few months ago and I’ve been back several times for their delicious smoothies, bowls and sandwiches on locally sourced sprouted grain bread. So far, my favorite menu item is the Caprese Panini with the Mediterranean Panini coming in a close second. The vegan cashew mozzarella is what makes the Caprese number one for me! Homemade – of course!
When visiting the downtown Route 41 location, the vibe is chill and relaxed once inside. The affordable menu and fresh options make it a great place to get take out meals for the beach. I usually sit at one of the communal tables or outside seats in the shade. When you visit Cafe Nutrients, look for Alexis (Marketing), Ming (CEO) and Jose (Head Chef) as they are always very welcoming and full of gratitude when making your acquaintance. They’ve created a local, eco-conscious, organic and plant-based eatery that rivals any other place in Naples and it’s apparent in their food and customer loyalty.
I look forward to many more Cafe Nutrients visits to taste other menu items including the acai bowl pictured above from the Cafe Nutrients Instagram.
